The Morgan Library of Ohio Imprints is an independent research library focusing on the history and culture of Ohio with an emphasis on the history of printing and publishing. The Morgan Bibliography of Ohio Imprints describes 10,237 books, pamphlets and broadsides printed in Ohio from 1796 through 1850. The library also is compiling the Morgan Index of Ohio People, Businesses and Institutions which includes names listed in the publications in the bibliography. The index includes over 150,000 entries drawn primarily from the city directories, school catalogs and other major printed sources.
